With 14 years’ experience, I am a leading academic in spatial design with internationally recognised expertise in lecturing, research, and design practice. My highly interdisciplinary research focuses on how the built environment influences human behaviour, addressing issues from client-designer communication, to the creation of inclusive, socially sustainable civic spaces, to the invention of ROI calculators for well-being through design. My work spans aesthetics, discriminatory design, and convivial design, integrating architectural and psychological theories to solve real-world challenges. My innovative contributions to education and research have earned numerous accolades, publications and commissions, solidifying my impact on the academic community and the fields of spatial design and sociology.
